  • Gorgeous Design - I was not a fan of the Redmi Note 10 series design, while I absolutely love this generation’s design. They look premium and sleek.
  • Excellent Entertainment device - Large 120Hz AMOLED display and stereo speakers are great for games and movies alike.
  • True 5G - Snapdragon 695 and 7 Bands make it a true 5G phone which is good for the future.
  • Excellent Battery - 5000 mAh cell and 67W fast charging are the best you can get in the price range.
  • That is not all, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G shines in the camera department as well. The 108 MP primary sensor takes excellent pictures with tons of detail and dynamic range. Overall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is well-rounded and almost faultless.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Design Review

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is a midrange budget phone but it doesn't feel like one. The phone features a glass back with a matte finish which makes it feel and look super premium. The flat sides make the phone stand out from other budget phones that have curved sides.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has the volume rocker and the power button which is also the fingerprint sensor on the right side. This is my preferred button placement, I can easily access everything I need as a right-handed person. You can find the 3.5mm jack at the top, and the USB-C port at the bottom.

The Note 11 Pro 5G has stereo speakers that can be found on the top (amplified earpiece speaker) and the bottom of the phone as well. There is a triple camera setup on the back and I like the arrangement compared to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Max.

The left-hand side has the hybrid SIM slot. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G can either run dual SIM cards or a SIM card with a microSD card.

You can find the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G in three color variants, Phantom White, Mirage Blue, and Stealth Black, out of which, Phantom white is my favorite. I like the Mirage Bluee too, looks like an ocean.

Overall, the design is impressive and doesn't feel like a midrange phone at all. The phone also feels durable and premium thanks to the flat sides and Gorilla Glass 5 back. I love the flat sides and glass back design with a matte finish. The phone is sized well and lightweight, making it ergonomic for all-day use.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Display

The phone comes equipped with a Super AMOLED panel that offers a stunning visual experience. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is great, and the black levels are deep, thanks to the technology used in AMOLED displays.

The screen measures 6.67 inches diagonally, which is quite large, and has a screen-to-body ratio of around 86%, which makes for an immersive viewing experience.

One of the standout features of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G's display is its high refresh rate. With a 120Hz refresh rate, the phone feels incredibly smooth and responsive. Scrolling through social media, playing games, and watching videos are all a treat on this device.

The display also has a peak brightness of 1200 nits, which is great for outdoor use or in bright environments. Even at lower brightness settings, the display remains easy on the eyes.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, with a 20:9 aspect ratio, which translates to a pixel density of around 395 ppi. The display is sharp, and text looks crisp and legible. I didn't notice any pixelation or blurring, even when viewing small text or graphics up close.

As far as protection goes, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which is a tough and durable material. While I haven't put the phone to the test by dropping it or scratching the screen, I feel confident that the display will hold up well over time.

Is Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Good for Gaming?

Running on Android 11 with MIUI 13, this phone boasts some impressive specs, including a Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G chipset built on 6nm architecture, an octa-core processor consisting of 2x2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold and 6x1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver cores, and an Adreno 619 GPU for decent gameplay.

The phone's Li-Po 5000 mAh battery is a powerhouse and lasted me through the day even with heavy usage. Its performance was really impressive as well, as shown by its benchmark scores on AnTuTu and Geekbench.

In terms of everyday usage, I found that the phone was quite snappy and responsive. Apps opened quickly and multitasking was a breeze. I also tried out some more demanding apps and games, and the phone handled them all with ease, thanks to its powerful chipset and GPU.

Overall, the phone's performance is really impressive, and it's definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new phone which can handle demanding games.

Is Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Good for Photography?

Cameras on midrange phones are rarely amazing but are still important when it comes to influencing buyers. Sadly, budget buyers usually think quantity is better than quality when it comes to cameras.

Regardless, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G features a decent camera setup and is much better than most smartphones in the price category but not the best. The phone has three sensors out of which only two are good.

The 108 MP wide lens is the star of the show here, and it truly delivers. The photos I've taken with this lens are incredibly sharp, with every detail captured in great clarity. Even when I zoom in on the photos, the details are still crisp and clear. The f/1.9 aperture of the lens also helps to capture more light, which is great for low-light photography. The lens also features PDAF, which helps to quickly and accurately focus on the subject.

The 8 MP ultrawide lens is perfect for capturing wide shots, such as landscapes or group photos. The 118˚ field of view is great for capturing more of the scene, and the lens produces vibrant colors and sharp details. On the other hand I didn't use the 2MP lens as much as the other lenses. I felt that it's great for capturing close-up shots of small objects, but the quality isn't quite as good as the other lenses.

In terms of features, the camera system includes LED flash, HDR, and panorama modes. The LED flash works well in low-light situations, and the HDR mode helps to capture more detail in high-contrast scenes. The panorama mode is also a fun feature to use, and it produces stunning wide shots.

When it comes to video, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps. The video quality is good, although it's not quite as impressive as the photo quality. The electronic image stabilization (EIS) helps to keep the footage stable, even when I'm moving around.

The front-facing camera is also quite good, with a 16 MP wide lens that produces sharp and detailed selfies. The f/2.5 aperture isn't as wide as the rear-facing lens, but it still captures enough light for good quality photos. The front-facing camera is also capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps.

Overall, I am extremely impressed with the camera system on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The photo quality is truly exceptional, and the range of lenses allows me to capture a wide variety of shots. The video quality is good, although it's not quite as impressive as the photo quality.

How long Does Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Battery Last?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9oihP6SCkQ

I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the battery performance. The device comes with a Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery, which is quite impressive in itself.

But what really caught my attention is the charging capability of the device. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G supports 67W wired charging, with support for PD3.0 and QC3. This means that you can charge the device to 50% in just 15 minutes, and a full charge takes only 42 minutes.

I have personally tested the charging time, and I can confirm that the device charges up super fast. This is really convenient, especially when you're in a rush and need to charge your phone quickly. The battery life on this device is also quite impressive. I have been able to get through a full day of heavy usage without having to worry about plugging in my phone to charge.

This is really convenient, especially if you're someone who relies heavily on their phone throughout the day. Whether you're using the device for gaming, streaming videos, or browsing social media, the battery life is quite impressive.
