Late last year Xiaomi launched their cheap and affordable smartphone, the Note 11T 5G. It was considered to be an upgrade from the Note 10T and that’s exactly we found it to be.
While the Note 11T might not be on everyone's mind, I felt that it’s designed specifically for those who are okay to compromise on performance, but would like a cheap device to use 5G network speeds.
Let’s go over the Xiaomi Note 11T 5G price and review in Singapore to figure out whether or not the device is meant for you. At the end i’ll even include where you can get your hands on one in Singapore by listing out some popular sellers.

Xiaomi Note 11T 5G Price and Review in Singapore
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Price in Singapore
The Redmi Note 11T was launched in December 2021 in Singapore and was released to the public in the same month. It was priced at SGD 455 at launch but there has been a steady drop in the price over the last couple of months.
As of 25 August 2022, the price of the Redmi Note 11T 5G in Singapore is 338 SGD for the 4GB/64GB variant. And the price goes up to 700 SGD for the 8GB/256GB variant.
Highlights of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T
Decent Processor - Powering the Note 11T is a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G (6 nm) processor. This octa-core beast is able to perform at peak levels of 2.24GHz and thanks to the DDR4X RAM it's able to deliver a smooth and responsive user experience.
Fast Charging with a Great Battery - With the Note 11T‘s large 5000mAh built-in rechargeable battery I was able to get over a full day's work from a single charge and this included watching videos and listening to music. The Note 11T supports 33W fast charging which is capable of taking the phone from 0-100% in approx 60 minutes.
Improved UFS 2.2 Storage - In addition to this, the Note 11T comes with built-in UFS 2.2 storage (64GB / 128GB variant available) which is great and from the phone grants easy access to files and media without much load time.
Fluid Display - The Note 11T features a large 6.6-inch IPS LCD display which I found to be quite bright, but easy on the eyes. It delivers 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution at 90Hz refresh rate making it pretty smooth to the touch.
Great Day Photos with the 50MP AI Camera - One of the main highlights of the Note 11T is the camera setup. The dual camera setup maxes out at 50MP with a secondary 8MP ultra-wide lens and thanks to the AI, images and videos tend to be quite decent. The selfie camera is a 16MP f/2.45 sensor which is truly amazing for the price.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Design Singapore
There’s nothing all that special about the design of the Redmi Note 11T. In fact it looks much like the Note 11 and it even comes with the same polycarbonate back casing with a matte layer on the top.
The only thing different about the Note 11T compared to the earlier models is that the main camera lens now comes with a plain glass outline unlike the metallic one used in the earlier series.
At the sides there are not many changes from the Note 11, the right side of the body houses the power and volume buttons whereas the left side of the body has the hybrid SIM card slot.
The phone feels great in the hand and the matte finish on the back panel really helps by adding grip to the phone. I personally love the fact that the 11T looks heavy, but it is in fact quite lightweight at 195g.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Display
The Note 11T is exceptionally affordable considering the large 6.6-inch display Xiaomi has used on it. I found the display to be quite sharp and responsive with the right amount of brightness to tackle daytime use.
With a resolution of 2400 * 1080p and a refresh rate of 90Hz, games were vivid and clear while movies were life-like with no lag. The added benefit was the Gorilla glass 3 protecting the display from external damage.
One of the things I did not like about the Note 11T is the big ugly pinhole cutout at the center of the display for the camera. It looks bad and we’re not quite sure why Xiaomi hasn’t moved on from that design.
While I was able to easily switch between 60Hz and 90Hz, having a 120Hz option would have been a good move by the company considering nearly all the displays of 2022 have one variant with a 120Hz display.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Performance
The Note 11T boasts some significant upgrades to its processing capabilities and unlike the Note 10T that runs on a Dimensity 700 SoC, the Note 11T uses the new MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC which is much faster and delivers a more fluid response.
Currently I was able to find only 3 variants of the Note 11T available in the market, the 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and these are good enough because the Note 11T also comes with expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Apart from the expandable storage, Xiaomi has also upgraded the RAM and allotted 3GB solely for multitasking purposes. While this is not enabled by default, I was able to activate the additional 3GB RAM by unlocking it within the Settings App.
While the Note 11T does respond quite satisfactorily if the device is being used to take photos, reply to emails and play games, I did find the UI to be quite laggy for the better part and noticed that the device began to heat up after 45 minutes of serious usage.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Singapore Camera
I didn’t expect much from the camera since there’s hardly a little improvement over the Note 10T, but the 50MP camera on the 11T does not come with a macro mode or a depth sensor so most of the pictures lacked the natural look.
It’s just so sad to see so much space being used in the rear camera housing when there are only two lenses present. Don’t get me wrong, the camera is quite good, but it does not deliver the same level of detail and resolution as other phones in the same price bracket.
The rear setup does not support 4K, but maxes out at 1080p and that’s definitely not something anyone would want at that price. One positive thing about the camera setup however is that the camera app comes with some pretty cool features that enhance the photos taken.
Modes like Kaleidoscope, slow-motion, time-lapse video, and night mode do justice to the end photos and videos, but regardless of how the camera setup is done, none of the night photos will come out crisp and detailed.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T 5G Singapore Battery
Finally, one of the biggest reliefs in a budget phone is the addition of a fast and capable battery. The Note 11T comes with a 5000mAh Li-Po battery that supports 33W fast charging which is all thanks to the new and improved processor under the hood.
Unlike the Note 10T which supports a maximum of 18W, the Note 11T with the new chipset can charge from 0-100% in under an hour which is again, quite reasonable and is more than enough for most users.
