Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G Malaysia Design
The Xiaomi 11T Pro is a midrange phone but with a premium design. The phone looks and feels great thanks to the glass back and brushed design. The phone also has an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance. All this makes the Xiaomi 11T Pro one of the best-looking and best feeling phone for its price.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G has the volume rocker and the power button (also the fingerprint sensor) on the right side. This is my preferred button placement as I can easily access the buttons as a right-handed person. Unfortunately, like most midrange and high-end phones, the 3.5mm is absent, while the USB-C port is at the bottom.
The phone features dual speakers tuned by Harmon Kardon can be found on the top and the bottom of the phone as well. The speakers are placed symmetrically and I love the stereo imaging they are capable of. On the back, you can find a triple camera setup. I like the arrangement and the way it looks compared to competitors like OnePlus and Realme devices.
Overall, the design is simple and elegant, it is easily one of the best-designed phones for its price. The phone is also built well, thanks to Gorilla Glass Victus protection and IP rating. I personally dig symmetric stereo speakers and camera placement the most. The phone can be large and hard to use for people with small hands, but for me, it was ergonomic for all-day use.
On the left-hand side, you can find the SIM slot. The Xiaomi 11T Pro supports dual SIM cards but no SD card which is a shame.
You can find the Xiaomi 11 T Pro in Singapore in three color variants, Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, and Celestial Blue. Out of these, Celestial Blue is my favorite.
Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G Malaysia Display
The Xiaomi 11T Pro has an excellent display. The phone uses a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 10-bit color support. The display is bright, vibrant, and stunning to look at. With a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 395 PPI, the Xiaomi 11T Pro looked sharp and clear no matter what I was looking at.
Xiaomi didn't cut any corners and offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and 480 Hz touch sampling rate with the 11T Pro. This makes the phone fast, responsive, and smooth for browsing, and gaming. The camera cutout is small and unobtrusive which makes the phone good content for consumption.
Ultimately, the Xiaomi 11T Pro has one of the best smartphone displays, if not the best, under 700 SGD. The display is bright for outdoor use, fast and responsive for navigation/gaming, and stunning for movies/videos.
I love the display on the Xiaomi 11T Pro, it even supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The display is also protected by Gorilla Glass Victus which is good to see at this price.
Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G Malaysia Performance
The Xiaomi 11T Pro comes with the Snapdragon 888. This was last year's best processor and is still plenty powerful for today. It may not set any benchmark records anymore but it offers top performance, especially for the price.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro features the best RAM and storage technology too, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. Combining the processor, RAM, and Storage, you get a phone that is snappy and fast no matter what task. You can choose the phone from 8/12 GB RAM options along with 128/256 GB storage options.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro launched with Android 11 and MIUI 12.5, the latest Android and MIUI versions available at launch. The phone has now received both Android 12 and MIUI 13, which makes it an even better device than at launch. It is fast, smooth, feature-rich, and fairly bug-free.
Overall, the Xiaomi 11T Pro is an excellent performer, it is the fastest phone you can get under 700 SGD in Singapore.
Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G Malaysia Camera
Cameras on midrange phones can be iffy, they usually do good, but will have some obvious shortcomings. However, over the past few years, camera quality has improved massively for midrange smartphones and it rings true with the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro features a competent triple camera setup that is much better than most smartphones in its price category. The 11T Pro has a 108MP wide lens, along with 8MP ultrawide and 5MP telemacro lenses.
The 50 MP primary wide camera is good for daylight conditions, while it struggles a little at night and indoors with artificial lighting. The 8 MP ultra-wide camera is decent for wide-angle shots when compared to the competition as well. The 5MP telemacro is not great but adds some versatility.
The Xiaomi 11T Pro shines when it comes to video recording. The phone supports up to 8K video recording at 30 fps and 4K video recording at 60 fps. There is support for slow video at 960 fps and HDR10+ recording. All these make the Xiaomi 11T Pro a versatile camera. But I wish there was OIS.
The 16 MP selfie camera will make most users happy for the occasional selfie and video call. The phone tends to over-process images but nowadays almost all phones including flagships do this, which is a shame.
Overall, the Xiaomi 11T Pro offers a good camera experience. It is not class-leading, but it holds its own against the competition. I think the Xiaomi 11T Pro only loses to Samsung A-Series and OnePlus 10T.
Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G Malaysia Battery
Xiaomi always does good in the battery department, they offer high capacities and good charging speeds. However, they have knocked it out of the park with the Xiaomi 11T Pro.
The phone comes with a non-removable 5000 mAh Li-Po battery which is normal for the size and price. With the large battery along and the relatively efficient Snapdragon 888 chip, the 11T Pro can easily last a day and more.
However, the best part is that Xiaomi offers 120W HyperCharge technology on the 11T Pro which can charge the phone in under 20 mins. This is better than mid-range phones like the Samsung A series and iPhone SE. It is on par with OnePlus and Realme too.
I love the battery life and the charging performance of the Xiaomi 11T Pro. I love looking at the battery percentage increase in real-time, it's so mesmerizing.

- In-display fingerprint sensor would have been better than the side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
