At a glance, it looks like the Apple Watch. Does it matter? In the grand scheme of things, no. It’s a design and style that people certainly like and if you can get an Apple Watch lookalike at such a low price, then why not?
- The design also has a crown on the side which can be used to wake up the smartwatch. The watch itself is pretty thick at 8.8 mm. The beautiful AMOLED display is a 1.75-inch that sits on a plastic base. It has an always-on display that looks pretty great.
- It has numerous watch face styles that look pretty great. The colours are sharp and look pretty amazing. If you keep the brightness on auto, you will save a lot of the battery’s life.
Under the sunlight? It’s crystal clear and sharp! The Amazfit GTS 3 has a silicone strap that is 2mm thick and it comes in numerous colors. It is a sleek and lightweight watch.

Even the Amazfit Bip Lite had a good GPS tracking feature which was pretty awesome. It’s the same for the Amazfit GTS 3 as well. The software is basic but functional.

The battery life on the Amazfit GTS 3 is awesome. The major issue with most smartwatches is how frequently you need to put it for a charge. With some of my other devices, because I forget to charge them, I have to leave my smartwatch at home, which is irritating.
- Even with using the GPS feature and activity tracking feature, the GTS 3 can last for a week and a half easily.
- The always-on display does eat battery life considerably and it’s a feature that most people will turn off because the battery wouldn’t even last a few days with it on. That’s disappointing because that’s a feature that most people would like.
- I can compare the battery life of this smartwatch with the Bip Lite which is pretty impressive and this holds up in that comparison!
- Although most of the features work as advertised, the step counter in the Amazfit GTS 3 has an issue. It sometimes goes awry and registers steps that haven’t been taken.
Another downside to this smartwatch is the app. The Amazfit app is a replica of the Mi Fit app and it isn’t all too intuitive. It has its issues and one might encounter syncing the app with the phone. Otherwise, the notifications are pretty easy to set up.

The Amazfit GTS 3 had launched at a competitive price of 179.99 USD same as the GTS 2. For the price, it offers a bigger 1.75-inch screen that is brighter too. The new GTS 3 is better than the older GTS 2 in almost every way.
It has better sensors, a bigger battery, is thinner in size too. Overall, the GTS 3 is one the best bang for the buck smartwatches at 169.99 dollars. It offers all the features anyone will need at an affordable price.
The screen, tracking accuracy, and design are the highlights for the Amazfit GTS 3. For the same price of 179.99 USD, the Amazfit GTS 3 is a much better buy than the GTS 2, while the cheaper Amazfit GTS is still a good option for budget buyers at 119.99 USD.

The Amazfit GTS 3 isn’t the most awesome smartwatch out there. But it works as a mid-tier smartwatch in between the budget smartwatches and premium smartwatches. The display is solid and the interface is even more brilliant. You definitely can tell it's high by the transitions.
The sports modes are extremely useful and give purpose to the watch. However, the sensors and trackers are not as accurate as advertised. It should ideally be used as a guide. There is an error margin. However, the most disappointing aspect is the battery life. Although the manufacturers state it's 14 days, it barely makes it to 7.
Other than these issues, it is a decent watch.

The new Amazfit GTS 3 is better in every way compared to the older Amazfit GTS. The GTS 3 features a bigger and better display with slimmer bezels. You also get much better internal processing power and sensors that are more accurate and offer more insights, the old one had 14 sport modes compared to the whopping 90 sport modes on the new GTS 3.
The GTS housed a 220 mAh battery compared to the 250 mAh battery on the Amazfit GTS 3 leading to significantly better battery life. And finally, the design and build quality has also been improved, the new one is much sleeker and premium feel.
Overall, the new Amazfit GTS 3 is a superb smartwatch for its price of 179.99 USD. While the new GTS 3 is awesome, Amazfit is still selling the original Amazfit GTS for a discounted price of 119.99 USD. For that price, budget shoppers should give it a good look, as it's still an excellent device.

Initially, I wanted to buy a Galaxy active watch, as I have sold my Apple watch 3 due to poor battery performance. But Galaxy active original has a very small dial, and active 2 is a little big for me( 44 mm) and out of budget. Garmins are good but very poor display and plastic-type looks like baby toys to me,(those are under $230)

I found a 52 hours battery life with always-on heartbeat monitoring. I don't keep it connected to my mobile continuously.A good screen. It so far seems solid. I liked it. It has so many features which I have not used, but I was searching for an inbuilt thermometer.

I am not much serious about the data I get from smartwatches, they are near perfect about footsteps, It showed me that my heart stopped for a couple of minutes while asleep, that was funny!!

The lie of 15 days of battery life, I see it as an art of advertising.
This is my 1st smart watch, after compared with Samsung Active 2 and Fitbit Versa 2 I decided to purchased this one.
Pro:
Price is good.
Long battery life, still have 69% after 3 days usage from 100% full charged ( auto sleep tracking and heart rate detection set to 5 min, and app alerts )
Light weight no problem wear during sleep at night
Con:
The weather need to improve on the Amazfit app, unable to locate the city i live, it detected nearby city with incorrect temperature. The app also won't auto detected my work city.
The sleep monitor will not track afternoon nap, I took 2-3 hours sleep in the afternoon and the app has no data.
Only 2 default watch face are customizable.
No ECG
No user guide manual, download from Amazfit or Amazon
Update 9/3/20
After 6 months of usage, I noticed the battery drain so fast, fully changed before bed time, after 6 hours 76%. This watch usually last 10 days per change, not sure if this relate to last update.
Contacted Amazfit support hopefully they can figure out the issue, otherwise, this will be my last MIC product.
